Chimney Chase Top Repair & Chimney Cover Install
Many homes with built-in chimneys have a wood framed chimney chase that contains a venting system that exhausts smoke and gases while drawing in air for combustion from the outside. These structures can be covered with siding that matches your home’s exterior or they can be covered with brick or stone as well.
At the top of this Chimney Chase is a Chimney Chase Cover which is typically a metal pan that covers the structure to guard against water intrusion, along with a termination cap which is attached to your venting system inside the chimney chase.
Chimney Chase Top Damage
Chimney chase tops are the first defense against the elements when it comes to protecting your pre-fab or factory built fireplace and venting system. The chase top will not only protect your chimney and flue from damages due to moisture, debris, and pests, but it will also enhance the appearance of your chimney. Our chimney chase top installations meet or exceed NFPA Codes and Standards.
